In a small while, time fades On a park bench the moon shades The afterglow of a sunny day The perilous night slowly awaits In the midst of a summer storm The stars shine forlorn Accompanied by the wolfs lonesome cry You lay your hard head down to die
The window offers no view Brick and bones alter and skew The clock ticks off beat The moment has become obsolete In a small while, the winds will blow In a short time the whole world will know It was a small crime, I begged you, stop, No!
I got your attention now Finally got you wrapped up somehow Dominated and submerged In the secrets you have up-till now traversed Hold your breathe as long as you can Take this abuse for as long as you can stand Let it out, a breathe of fresh air Open your eyes; Id be dammed if I were still standing there
You say youve changed- And that I should too I say youre deranged- Psychotic as a whimsical fool Masterfully construed, Elegantly crafted A tear reveals your disguise Your feet steadily planted
The candle burns dim and faint The night can no longer wait Abbreviated ticks, a shorter time In a small while, and by design Details yet to unfold, unforeseen Miracles yet to hold, eternities key The Garden of Eden has burned to the ground I wait for the snake, but he is no where to be found

Great imagery! Although I became a little confused when I got to the middle and then again at the end, you're poem seems to include a few different scenarios. I like your constant theme of time though.
