You don't deserve these tears
that I've stayed up all night crying
nor the smiles that I gave you
when inside I felt like dying
You don't deserve my heart
that, like a fool, I gave away
nor the hateful words I've thought
but haven't had the nerve to say
You don't deserve the dreams
that I have of you at night
nor the memories we share
of things that used to feel so right
You don't deserve these things
and yet I can't get them to stop
so I pray for the day
when not another tear will drop

Aww Brenna, this is such a sad and heart breaking write. I can feel your pain through every word. Hang tuff friend. In time your sad little heart shall heal and it shall flow with joy and happiness once again. A sad, but very well written poem.

| This is a great write when you read mine and Gave me good comments I had to read some of your work and I’m glad I did. Its nice to see someone who is feeling how I feel but I’m sorry you have to go through this. But you will find strength in future relationships, by the way you write I can tell you are a awesome person and someday you’ll find the one how will love you as you love them. Take care….Steve |
