i cry every night
it's just to hard to fight
But it just wont go away
it just comes and stays
And i think about it all the time
it's like a crime
No one understands
i look down with tears in my hands
They think i have a perfect life
please take away this knife
People think my life is just all fun and games
i just have no fame
but i'll sit here patiently and
wait till people take me seriously

| Wow. What a beautiful poem. I feel like that a lot, when no one will consider that I might be smarter in a subject then they are. When adults look down on us and think we are insignificant. That I know nothing because I'm only 12. That was a truely inspiring poem. Maybe people will start to open their eyes to the injustices that surround them. Great Poem. Wonderful Write. |
