Hopes full now empty
you disappoint me
like my gullibility
and it's me who's sorry
because i feel for you
but it's me who walks away
and it's me who says "we're through"

Cos my feelings have been trampled on
like a dirty mat
and i thought you had changed
shame on me for believing that

and not a single tear
no not this time
you don't have that satisfaction
you don't have that right

this is your very last right
this poem is about you
find it flattering
that your potential is cruel

so this is the last time your name tingles my paper
or thoughts of you touch my pen
good-bye
cheerio
farewell
