I see you standing there
With her all alone
I dare to watch and try not to care
But somehow my heart always seems to ache
This pounding muscle in my chest
Everytime pieces chip away and break
My eyes become watery with bloody tears
Staining my face slowly and painfully
My aching eyes watching in fear
All my once haunting day dreams have now come true
As I stand here across the hall alone
Somehow I can't stop watching you
I see your beautiful smile and watch you kiss
The things that you once did with me
As I weep, here all alone, trying to get over this

| You expressed in words perfectly what everyone experiences at some point in time. Losing a love and trying to forget them. I don't think you can ever forget someone that you loved deeply. You will always carry part of them with you in your soul. But remember that a true and mutual love will one day come for everyone. So be happy for the experience you had with this person. And turn your sadness into energy for finding your true love. |
