JUST STOP!

Contributed by marqthelyricist on Thursday, 21st April 2005 @ 11:11:36 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Tell me again what I need to do to get over you
I think I need to hear it one more time
Just for the heck of it
Hit me in the heart again and again
Maybe this time it will actually bleed to death
It is already severely wounded, just kill it
Kill it with more of what you call trust
You trust me with your life and your secrets
What you fail to realize is that your trust is attacking me
I see everything I've ever wanted in everything you say
Funny how I can fake and fake but I can't fake out myself
I can't continue to fake how it hurts to see you with somebody else
Call me jealous if you like and say I should just get over it
But I'm not the type to roll over and play dead
I can't be silent when I hear so much noise
I can't hold back when I see you being unappreciated
I can't hold back when I know the solution
You told me that in time you would realize the truth
The only thing is, you didn't know that the "you" you spoke of was you
Why do we want what we can't have?
I don't understand why I want you
You bring me pain and I wish you would just stop.

I can relate with this poem a lot and am glad I found a person that I can relate with. Keep the faith and you will go far.
