Blood doesn't scare me
Just the pain
I can see an image
Cringe at the slain
Everybody in this world
Is technically insane
Will you admit that you are,
Or are you too ashamed?
May I take my dagger
Put some harm upon you
I promise it won't hurt very badly
If you do what I ask you to
A mere second passes
After you answer me "yes"
I hold the knife above you
I'm a coward I confess
Because I look
Deep in your eyes
So deep and true
I can read your mind
I see the image of blood
Pouring from your wound
Those deep enchanting eyes
Tasting the gloom
My dagger falls swiftly
Down to my side
I have failed
Disappointment I hide
Blood doesn't scare me
Just the pain
I can FEEL the image
Cringe at the slain
