Conflicting images
Of I past not known
Blank canvases
Of a future postponed

Internal Conflicts
Cleanse my soul
Maternal nourishment
A family to hold

Head pounding
Stomach speaks
Red river gushing
Up on ripple creek

Teardrop scenery
A sight to see
Desperate serenity
Seeps down to me

Natural conclusions
Search the stars
Instinctual delusions
Creatures from Mars

Invasion proceeds
Just as planned
The devil concealed
As an ordinary man

The future resumed
Time is ending
The past is exhumed
Bridges need extending
