i want her to see, what's breathing in me
this angel of toys and balloons
i want her to play, and smile everyday
through the grey day's afternoons
i want to hear her voice, on sunday's my choice
and then sleep like the sun does tonight
I want her to be, the angel that's free
not held by what's not always right
I'll show what i am, the water and sand
so she can make castles and such
i will be strong, and carry her song
like wind that carries the touch
we'll play in the sand, and try understand
why ants always crawl in our pants
dig, dig, till we see the other sides,
the other sides of our little lives
yeah, i love her
