Life Goes On

Contributed by Kay-Kay on Friday, 22nd April 2005 @ 08:21:38 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I was lost when all this happened to you
But ever since then i feel much better
But everytime i think about you i get down and blue
Then i think about when we were together

Best friends we were and i still feel that we are
But it is so hard to wake up and know you aren't there
I feel like i can reach you but i know you're too far
People always telling me that you did it to yourself i shoudn't care

I could never forget about you you're so important to me
I could count on you to be there whenever
So why is it so hard for people to see
That we said we would be best friends forever

I do agree that i should keep trying to move on
But it has been really hard to get through this
Knowing that i can't just call because you're gone
My tears are still coming fast and my thoughts are all mixed

You moved on to a better place but it was just too soon
I wish that God would send me a sign that you're there
Because your whole family is hurt and i am hurting too
You were my one and only true friend and it just isn't fair

I hate to say that life goes on but i really have to keep moving
My friend you will always have the first place in my heart
I will always remember you to hear your voice one last time would be soothing
But i'll wait until it's my time to go but for now i'm on to a better start

~I'll always love you "friend" 1988-2004 love Kayla~
