i got all these lonely mutterings held in the palms of my tattered hands held up as offerings held to a goddess of whom i am not even sure i believe in anymore speeding down the poorly tarred path my hearts tossed out the broken window along with my shattered dreams careening down sucked up under the weight of speeding rubber tires speeding with no where in particular to go except to a home that isn't were my heart lies close my eyes float above the road how easy it would be to just let go, done even care if i follow the road all i want is peace rest for my weary soul

Nice write, I've never personally driven under such conditions but get the sense of what you feel. |
