The Voice So Distant From Us...

My eyes see things so distant right now.
My heart cant beat any longer,
For the sake of my head gone mad.
We dont seem to feel the wind blow through our hair
Or slap us across the face.
Were numb from the touch.
The touch of the voice
The voice from far off into the distance
In which my eyes are constantly searching for.
Yet they havent found that solid piece of skin
That speaks so clearly but so far in the mind.
It holds on to your words ,
To others and their words
But you cannot find it
Its been hidden off in such a distant place
That you will never find it.
Its constant ramblings have begun to get louder
As if it were coming closer.
But its not
Its just what it is, its becoming louder
Trying to overpower your words.
But is that distant voice going to win,
Going to have you as its mindless hostage,
As it had already slowly began to take you over?
Will it win completely or shall you speak clearly
Ignore whats being said
Ignore what wants to be done?
Or will you let it tie the knot and you become one with the voice
Share the space in your mind with another
Be not you
Be not me
Be you and the voice
Be me and the voice
We shall never meet, but shall live with one another
In a cell thats filled with so many thoughts
And so many emotions left to crumble.
I will still search for that voice that has made my mind go mad
That has left me numb to the touch

wow
i used to hear voices actually
i had to take meds for it
and this just made me tingle
that someone could understand in ANY way
shape
or form
finding yourself in the voice i guess
is best
