something special,
i don't know what it was,
or what it could be.
i know that the something
special could neve be me.
i am not tall, i am not smart,
i am not brave, or pure of heart.
i could never win, or try so hard
as to be the one to steal your heart.
yet i have you and you have me,
how am i to be this lucky?
i am not beautiful, nor popular.
so how am i yours?
i am nothing special,
the insane one in the back of the room,
talking to myself or humming a tune,
wearing things no one would dare,
saying things to make you stare,
so i am nothing wonderful
not at all, so how did i get you?
im not special at all
