Cold, Dark World

Make my world cold
Fill my heart
Heart with sadness
Take my smile
Make me lost
I feel hate
The love, and loss
You showed me life
Yet still alone
I need to feel
What I once knew
What I once loved
Yet my path
Filled with darkness
Why you, Why me
Why this, this now
Will I feel
Feel your touch
Your warm embrace
Or am I doomed
Doomed to a world
World of darkness
That shows no
No mercy to me
My soul, My heart

That's a great poem. I can relate to that so easily, I feel that way right now. I've been heartbroken before. I love the emotion in your words of this poem... Thanks. Jenny
