On that remembered hot summer day The 238th anniversary of when Britains rule went away Firework wars were the trend It was me, my brother, cousin, and friends
As the fuse dwindled away I knew the bottle rocket would soon blast away I was aiming for my cousin Zack Then all of a sudden, whoosh, and then whack
The rocket nailed him in the shoulder The pain he did not feel only made us grow bolder Now we found our selves tossing fire crackers near each others head Not far, but close to each other instead
We found our selves throwing fire crackers at each other till the end of the night We were have so much fun that we never got in a fight Even when the fire crackers blew up in our face We just looked at each other with disgrace
We finally returned home All we could hear was constant ringing in our dome I closed my eyes to sleep Then I woke up to the annoying beep beep beep
