Love Walked Away

Contributed by sride686 on Tuesday, 26th April 2005 @ 10:01:39 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My thoughts run deep and torture my soul
Like a sleepless night Im left out of control
These thoughts run deep and grip my heart
Then the proceed to tare it apart
Im left alone to cry and grieve
Over a life Ive lost that I still need
I let love go and it walked away
Walked out of my life forever that day

Now Im left to bleed tell death
Tell I lay my head down to rest
My life is a skeleton in a open grave
But yet my body still feels the pain
So I close my eyes to forever sleep
But before I do I start to weep
As the rain of tears roll down my cheeks
I take my life and take my grief
With a lace of ribbon that runs down to my feet

That's a sad poem. I can feel the heartache with every word, and I can think of my ex. Now I can feel the rain of tears rolling down my cheeks too! What an emotional poem! Great work. Jenny
