Days Without Dreams

Topic: drugabuse

hiding every day fromt he truth you see
my heart knows whats right
and you kow me
how did i get into such a mess?
not giving a **** about myself
i never thought it'd be like this

i try to pretend
but i know its no suprise
when you can always tell confessions
staring through my bloodshot eyes

i want it, i need it to maintain
i love it, i hate it
it takes away the pain

awake for seven days, i'm delirious
pushing myself to the limit
too far gone now to say
i'm just curious

so if you want to then leave me
i'm just another drone
i dont care, dont need you
see how easy false love is shown

i want it, i need it to maintain
i love it, i hate it,
it takes away the pain

blinded by a feeling
that always goes away
trying to stay alive
to feel it every day
i dont want this anymore,
whats the price? i'll pay

i tried to pretend
but i know it's no suprise
when you can alwyas tell confessions
staring through my bloodshot eyes

i want it, i need it to maintain
i love it, i hate it,
it takwas away the pain

sleepless, wide awake, i'm staring at the ceiling
wondering why, and i'm still high
gawd i really hate this feeling

I completely know where you are coming from. Greatway of expression. I could envision you going through this pain.

Good write. I really like the lines:
i want it, i need it to maintain
i love it, i hate it,
it takwas away the pain

They really bring the whole write together. Keep posting!
