I sit alone
wishing you were here.
The last look you gave
has me trembling in fear.
You are never coming back.
I will never see your face.
Please remember I love you.
That our love wasn't a waste.
You always make me laugh.
I always made you smile.
I will always be glad
that you were mine for a while.
Now that you are gone
remember that our love was true.
and I'll hold on to your sweater
of beautiful baby blue.
