In quiet suspension, floating on a sea of solemn black
Pale candlelight at the end, the bones lifeless on the mast
The pressures of life, sinking and passing away
No more grudges in my life, and Ill try to keep it that way
Red and yellow then stained the sky
Anger and cowardice escaping my minds eye
As tears filled my eyes as my pain returned once again
As the memories of dad, and times of fear, filled my veins
The ocean shifted from its midnight hue
To ever deepening shades of royal blue
Reminding me of age old pains, as old as I
And the times I thought all was lost, as I cried
As the colors spoke, each saying their lines
Speaking the poetry, that has become my life
The intricate rhythms filling my ears
Feeling again, all from my growing years
It was then I saw you, floating on the breeze
Reaching out with arms open, becoming all to me
Ariving at this moment, this final conclusion
That your love, makes my pain into Illusion

My favorite line in this entire write is the very last one, That your love, makes my pain into illusion, that is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thanks for sharing this one i enjoyed reading it tremendously...you write beautifully my friend i look forward to reading more of your poetry...
