Early sun Like a day dressed in gold A cape over the clouds. The time when The dark of the world is covered And everyone is Born again With innocent eyes Hiding from reality In the rays of The morning sun A gift for the world to share A new start A new sky A glimpse of heaven, Which most of us are Too blind to see Or too young to care Dewdrops Clinging to the petals, To the leaves, To the grass, As if drinking their beauty. Holding on, Eventually tumbling, Like tears, Dissolving in soil As if they never existed At all. Ignored.
