Here tonight I sit alone, sad and grim
Here tonight I sit alone, I know I don't hate him
I need to move on from the past,
and find a new love that will last
I feel this coming to an end
or maybe round and round again

A Thousand deaths could make me love you no less,
a thousand lies could make me feel blessed
I'm wishing you a perfect life
a world of love and without strife
I'm wishing you a perfect life
a perfect life with me tonight

You told me this a hundred times
and I knew I'd surely find
'I love you' doesnt mean a thing
just like this shiny diamond ring

A Thousand deaths could make me love you no less,
a thousand lies could make me feel blessed
I'm wishing you a perfect life
a world of love and without strife
I'm wishing you a perfect life
a perfect life with me tonight

And like the smiles that you fake
and like the spoils that you take
Everyday I'll sit and wait
I wish I could appreciate
our love and things that made you smile
and how your make me walk a mile
just to sleep or watch you dream
but now that doesn't mean a thing

it sounds more like a song than a poem but it does have the effect of a poem
