Her Love Dance

Contributed by NoSaint on Thursday, 28th April 2005 @ 03:15:26 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

As he entered the room
Before him was a sight
A warm firing raging
That and candle light

Cheese, crackers and wine
A spread fit for a king
A bearskin rug with rose petals
A large feather from Ostrichs wing

But where was his love
He heard her soft voice saying
Sit rest awhile
Then he heard music playing

He turned toward the sound
A sight to make any man swoon
She had not danced this dance
Since his honeymoon

Her body swayed and moved
Precision supreme
As with each piece of lace removed
His body let out a silent scream

Closer she came to him
But always teasingly moving away
He would reach out
Trying anything to make her stay

How the heat rose in the room
As she brought her mouth near
Body ever searching forward
His body now starting to sear

She used every trick she knew
To make his dreams come true
As he lay spent and satisfied
She said I have always loved just you
