My Dying Flame

Contributed by sprinter27 on Thursday, 28th April 2005 @ 07:37:57 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

My flame is slowly dying
I have given up on trying
My flame of life is almost gone
Its my time to end, I am not wrong
My flame is barely alive
It is battling its last strife
But I sense a wind coming forth
With no one protecting my flame from this war
Nothing to hide the fire from this breeze
Even if it is so light that it wont even move trees
I know its strong enough to put my flame out
I know it can, I have no doubt
My flame is slowly disappearing
And I dont feel like interfering
My flame is about to die
All I can do is say goodbye

why say good-bye? Life may suck now but trust me tomorrow holds more and slowly but surely things tend to start looking up in your favor. Don't stress the little things strife for the bigger better things and show people that you truely are a gift to society. ~day~

This was very sad and I can honestly say that
I understand and that life does get better. It
would be idiotic to give up when you can write
like this anyway. Turn your depression into
something you can be proud of like this
poem here. Continue writing out your pain I
look forward to reading more.
