When I was just a young boy
standing at my daddys' knee
All the kids in our town
use to come and tease me
And all the kiddies say,
That there's an ugly mug
face like a dog and eyes like a bug
only a momma could love that jug
cause that there's an ugly mug
And as I got older
the world could plainly see
that it wasn't getting any better
that is my looks you see
And all the kiddies say,
That there's an ugly mug

And now as I think it over
as the years have passed me by
And I stand here before this mirror
you know I can not lie
