Confusion is my constant companion
The unknown my worst fear
I wish that I could find a way
To make all the thoughts disappear
But so far I havent been successful
The thoughts never seem to cease
Im fighting a losing battle
With a nonexistent beast
I always thought that Id be
Someone others could look up to
But then I wound up doing things
I never thought Id do
Now Im even more lost
Than Ive ever been before
Its like someone locked me in a room
To search for an imaginary door
Although I know I shouldnt
I usually feel completely alone
Wondering if Ill ever return
To the life I used to own
