Fighting Within my Own Thoughts

Contributed by ruthie1983 on Friday, 29th April 2005 @ 01:54:46 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Why cant I get the one I care for?
Why dont I love the one that loves me?
He said it several times he loves me,
He also says he will never hurt me,
But I am scared to give in like the last time,
Why do I suffer not knowing what to decide?
Deep within my thoughts I hear a voice whispering,
Telling me not to be involved with him,
Another voice tells me its okay to try again,
Another voice tells me you will not last with him,
Another voice tells me to love him back,
Why do I have to fight within my own thoughts?
He says he loves me several times,
But why cant I decide if I love him back?

sometimes it's harder to decide when it's for real this time.....but then again if you have a voice telling you something's not right then it might not be right.
