This boiling disdain
for the weather and rain...
keeps me here in my hole
My needles are bleeding
my thoughts are receding...
nothing is brightening soul

The candles do flicker
my shadow shakes quicker...
something remains in the rain
The trees are all black
and bubbles look back...
to memories of childhood pain
______________________
I'm born of the drug
and dying for the love...
i'm fetus that twitches to sound
The blood in my soul
is damp in this hole...
nothing prepares me for ground.
And so, into the grave of tomorrow...

Very powerful read, apparently dealing with drug use and related consequences. emotionally it feels very lonely and dark.
