Reflections of innocence
in distant guise.
Mearly glitter
in tear filled eyes.
Long lost memories
of forgotten days.
Of parts in life
one sometimes plays.
From victims to heros
and one takes the fall.
On who depends
who answers the call.
And of dreams of escape
that fills the mind.
The ones we have sought
never to find.
Except for the glimces
of far far away.
Of shades and shadows
all dressed in gray.
Where time is forgotten
and devoid of light.
Lost in darkness
forever night.
