Silent exhale of regret
Intake a new hope
Coughing on expectations
Gagging on the silent exit
Your concept walks out the door
A dream you saw on television
Has left you savoring the next episode
Predisposed deposition
Feeling cheated of cheese
Shrugging in the skin of mice
And mocking the trap that snares
Broken necks for trophies
Lifting high to cover up
Tomorrow you will reciprocate
Touting your dead blank eyes
Spreading your disease
You try to make it feel good
It feels like somehting
You wish you could feel at all
You paint a picture
Of how everything is wrong
But you can't see
How you've been painted all wrong
I'll let you sketch
And bare you my chest
Write upon me your words
I'll add them to everything
