I don't want you back

Contributed by trustisajoke on Sunday, 1st May 2005 @ 01:43:10 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You came back into my life
like nothing was ever wrong.
All the crying and all the fights
endless days and sleepless nights
with only you on my mind.
but eventually i began to grow
i learned to love again
though my heart was still attached
i began to move on i started seeing somone new
i tried to give my heart to him but it still belonged to you.
thoughts of forever if i only i had known
you'd pack up your bags and you'd leave me all alone.
I made my heart believe you were gone, and that's a fact
a few monthes later you said ''baby i want you back''
i choked up with tears and told you i'd moved on
though now i can't accept that you are truely gone
I love you more than you'll ever know
but times like these you have to let go.

Holy crap... That is such a good poem, it's really sad and emotional. I can only think about how that felt. Great poem.
