Everyone loves a cuddle,
it makes you feel so glad
And when you are feeling happy
you can fight all what is bad.
And if you give a cuddle you'll
get one back for sure
Because like a bouncing ball
they'll bounce back for more.
And they are so infectious
creating so much joy
They bring happiness
and laughter to every girl and boy.
And if you've no-one to cuddle
then get a teddy bear
And cuddle it closely to
you then it's comfort you will share.
For the happiness of a cuddle,
the warmth of being held tight
Can be got by holding teddy
so squeeze it with all your might.
But all cuddly toys given to
children are a precious gift
That brings joy and comfort
to give the spirit a lift.
And if children feel lonely
when tucked up on their own
That will be gone as they cuddle
a toy of their own.

Dear Shari,
If someone ask me to comment on your poem and only use one word I would have to say...."Refreshing!" It is such a joy to read another's poetry and feel "cuddled" while doing it. This is just precious Shari, and you are so right, when you love another(whether human, teddy bear, whatever) you are also loving yourself...........so everyone needs cuddles.
I loved your poem. You are warm and welcoming, and we your readers can understand what idea you are conveying.
