So many reasons to hate you
For all that you've done to me
Words were said but with no meaning left in them
My tears have dried up
But the pain has just gotten worse
The days flow into one another as I lose all track of time
I sit here and I ask myself
Why did I believe your lies?
And then I come to my senses and think
Maybe at the time they weren't all lies
You actually did mean everything you said
But then all things came crashing down around us
And I am left sitting here
With one last tear forming
But I blink it back
I won't cry anymore for you
So many reasons to hate you
But hate will get me no where

You're exactly right when you say that hate will get you nowhere. I'm glad to see the responsibility of this piece. Too many people just let themselves sit in the anger and hurt until they become bitter and unhappy. Just remember that pain is always the price for wisdom, but that we have to choose for the wisdom. Otherwise we will still get the pain, but with no redemption.
I'll quit rambling now. A meaningful piece.
