Are you afraid of the dark?
Manly creatures lie there
Waiting and watching
You can almost feel their stare
Mangled and bloody
They crawl out of their nest
Climb over your body
Stealing your breath
Cold gleaming eyes
Are all that youll see
As they move in around you
Starring, starring at thee
Hissing of breath
As one glides past your ear
Slowly devouring
All that you feel
Slimy and cold
Sliding around you, making you dead
Cold tingling sensation
The smell of its breath
Pulling at you
in every direction
Stealing your sanctuary
Asking no questions
Steely voice in the dark
Waiting for more
To steal more from within you
Prolonging the gore
Feeding you slowly
White angels of death
Feel them flow through you
Taking your breath
From toes to your feet
Your body grows numb
Its his for the taking
Nothing left is yourshe says come
Footsteps as it leaves you
Patience and rest
Tied down like a madman
Knife in your chest
Lunging out, trying to escape
Feeling dirty, unclean
Small squeals of pain that you made
Echo within you, feel your heart beat
No one to listen
As you vent out your pain
Think its all your fault
So you split all your veins
Darkness surrounds you
Pain plunging in
See creatures around you
Guilty as sin
Now that you hear
This story Ive told
How are you feeling?
Is your blood running cold
Trees shedding their bark
Swearing over and overdamn
So are you afraid of the dark?
