Sliding down her cheek,
Her soft warm cheek,
Is the simple tear,
Caused by her fear.
Her fear consumes her day after day,
And her tear multiplies night after night,
Look deep into her eyes
They tell a story, a story that will memorize.
Look at her body,
Her small fragile self,
Do you notice the bruises?
To acknowledge them herself, she refuses.
Watch as she walks,
So afraid of the next step,
She use to walk in such grace,
And with a smile upon her face.
Life has gotten bad,
And more then a normal bump in the road,
Things just keep happening and getting worse and worse,
Its almost like upon her theres been placed a curse,
Now to uncover her fear,
The thing that haunts her deep inside,
And keeps her heart shut,
Is all over her body, each and every simple cut.
