I hear voices
Calling my name
Calling me to them
It isnt a game
With eerie harshness
They call me, I come
But to where do they call me?
I know not, I run
Cold chilling voices
Follow like wind
Surraping around me
And pulling me in
Deafless as thunder
Much stronger than silk
The voices are echoing
They are in me still
Voices inside me
My blood pumps all black
Voice to guide me
My trails are all traps
So I run in any direction
Trying to find my way out
Caught in this madness
That isnt a game
Voices move closer
Like a cat closing in
Trapping the victim
Hearts black as sin
A clap like the lightning
Illuminates them now
I see who is calling
Im calling within.

| =] im impressed by this one. this gave me a feeling of anxiousness and brought me to feel the piece itself, very well done. this was an excellent piece, and i enjoyed reading it. i loved the ending. if you see some of my comments on some of the poetry around here you will usually notice that i comment on endings and the topic of a poem. both of these elements were written with excellence. i liked the poetic verses with comparisons also. im glad i read this, thanks for sharing. |
