Destruction of Love

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

How do you know when love is dead?
Your tears once transparent now are red
The goodtimes seem to be stuck in the past
Your drifting in a routine that you don't want to last
Your looking at others and saying "If only"
Making that move may make us just lonely
Can two hearts live in this endless lie?
The romance has vanished the emotions ran dry
Avenues exhausted trying to find the solution
The purest of hearts killed by jealous pollution
If the answer is anywhere its back in the past
We have time to change it but its running out fast
The chapters of this book are closing too quick
To know we had the chance but failed makes me feel sick
In order to save we have to transcend back in time
To the clock that ticked and the bells did chime
You ask the same questions everyday
"Is the love dying, has it all gone away?"
It will take a lot to get us back to the heights that we were
Ignorance is the disease, listening is the cure
It will take two to survive this, one cannot do it alone
The answer is there, now we need to be shown.
