Just imagine.....A Spring Bouquet......

Oh what a lovely time of year
When from frozen ground snowdrops appear,
Quickly followed by crocuses too
In lovely colours of white, yellow and blue.
Then Hyacinths race to be in bloom,
Chasing away the last of the gloom.
As there beautiful bells in lilac and pink
Make the last of winter in the ground sink,
Now with winter gone and far behind
Youll see spring weather far more kind
And Daffodils with trumpets lovely and gold
Will linger with loveliness for us to behold.
Staying till the tulips come, in glorious red
Some like a parrot with a feathered head.
After this the bluebells will carpet the ground
Making May a picture, the best to be found
And these lovely flowers, are fed with love
By warm gentle rain from God above,
And if his showers should linger A while,
Hell set a rainbow to cheer you with a smile.
And the colours of the rainbow up in the sky
Are used to paint the flowers, to catch your eye
For flowers and colour are two healing gifts
That God spreads around to give us a lift.
