It's over now
but somehow I wish it wasn't
Cause I'm still holding on
to what I wish we still had
and it's stupid that we could let this come between us
and it's hard to be around you and act like nothing happened
and it sucks that everytime I look at the stars I think of you
and it sucks that I'll never get to have my happy ending with you
why did this have to fall apart
and why'd you have to go and break my heart
I always knew
you weren't the one for me
but you were
the one for me right then
and it's stupid that I'm still holding on to what we had
and I've kept you in my mind for so long I can still feel you
and it sucks that I can never turn my back on those days
and it sucks that I can't replace the feelings you gave me
I try to forget the past
but I can't get over these things that were gone so fast

| I hate when that happens but I like this poem. I feel that way over my ex-boyfriend. I would do anything to get him back but I feel as it would be better if we never got together again. |
