Can You Tell Me?

Contributed by DrowningInKarma on Wednesday, 4th May 2005 @ 05:52:27 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Can you tell me why it hurts
like the pain of being bit
by the spiders web who has got you
so tangled up it feels like falling down in the dark,
scared of the pain
when hit by the speed of the bullet
at 10 times the hurt under lies being told by the deciets who drown you
under more misery of guilt being ashamed to say why it feels this way,
when you're burried through lifes disgrace
under a sea of mourning like death
of love that you knew
when it felt good, yet you were so far away from the gracious life
your jealousy consumes your thoughts
making your life unreal to what you know,
and desire to feel, just to have one thing there, when you're alone
petrified of what could happen in the blood red night
liek when everything came back to you
remembering why you felt this way...forever

Good write. There are a lot of messages I can take from this poem. The biggest one is to continue to live life with out giving up.
