Im the finest poet on this entire site
Im never tempted to quit
My words always come out right
What you see is all you get
Dont you forget your promise
The temptations you choose to ignore
Doesnt this very Write admonish
Everything a decent Poet stands for?
They call me the king of sonnets
Then who shall you be called now?
I declare you the Prince of Darkness
Spawned in cruel ignorance somehow
A desperate fool for tolerance
You once stood where I stand
A delicate palate for flesh
I have devoured your lofty command
I hold the queen of spades
This flush of hearts can not be beat
The hand you dealt, the words you felt
Ironically warn you to concede
I now represent the every man
A nation of poets and thinkers
Only now can they understand
As the light in their eyes begins to flicker
Pay me homage and respect
Laud my talent and valor
When you lay me down to rest
Let these words guide you forever

This is so funny, and who is the first one to comment to you? Probably the finest poet on this site. You definitely have a sense of humor and a bad sense of timing for Bruce to see this. Didn't you love the poem he posted as a comment. Keep penning. I would say comedy is your best venue. : )

| amusing is right i dont know if your the best or not i can say one thing though theres quite a few poets that i know is a hell of alot better then you.But your write made me laugh so i'll forgive you for being cocky. |
