She was alone even when surrounded
In her mind no one cared
Her family and friends, never left her side
Yet they were so far
She looked around, and the only one she saw was me
The reflection in the mirror mimicked her so
She cried, and here I was in tears
She yelled, and here I was with a sore throat
Just the girl in the mirror
She stared as if she knew me
There she was
Looking very familiar, she stared
Laughter surrounded her, but who can it be?
She was alone in the world
Alone with an image of me
