Running From Pain

Slowly dieing,
Manipulating my fear
So much pain inside
I must run from here
Too many memories
That continue to haunt me
So many thoughts inside
My lonely, so lonely mind

Always two steps forward
And four steps back
As soon as I make progress
I quickly relapse
Down on my luck
Rapidly losing control
Voices constantly yelling
And slowly taking my soul

No one to run to
Not one place to hide
I once had your gentle arms
But now you're broken inside
I try to hide my pain
Forced to hide my fears
But my heart is again broken
And I'm no longer here
