My 9 Angels

Contributed by KishaLovesCare126 on Friday, 6th May 2005 @ 06:03:15 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

In my life I was lost and confused,
Spinning in circles,
Around and around,
I wanted to hit the solid ground.

That day never came,
Because I was saved,
9 people who gave me faith,
With their hearts they loved me.

A few rough spots came,
In to my world,
Surrounded by their support and comfort,
Effort was my one resort,
Try and keep trying.

If a hug needed,
I was given one,
When the tears fell,
A shoulder was there.

Each one special no less love,
I give thanks to the mighty lord above,
All of them walk with a smile,
I started to see life was worth more.

One by one,
They taught me different things.
Kim- gave me courage to no longer be afraid.
Donna- not to give up on my dreams.
Pat- stay strong in tough times.
Jackie- never be anyone else but, you be yourself.
Diane- Believe in god he loves you.
Pam- taught me to laugh.
Barb- get up if you fall youll succeed again.
Laurie- Kept a smile on my face.
Wendy- be a better person with friends, loves and myself.

From the bottom of my heart,
I dug really, really deep,
To find the words thatll make
This poem complete those words are simple,
Are very true, ok Ill say them,
I love all of you.

This was a good write and it would make me feel like my life had meaning to receive a write like this from someone. Also a very strong ending and the word love real shows how thankful you are to them. You write very well and as I have time I look forward to reading more of your writes. Take care my friend and keep writing….Steve
