|
you have a pill to take away each pain
one for the sun, one for the rain
one to make you happy
another to pull you down
but soon you'll see
that your addiction makes you drown
you float away into oblivion
you fly away into the sky
you drown in your sorrow
and continue to take for the high
you're a prisoner without chains
you're dead but you continue to smile
you have a pill for each pain
that only take the memories away for a while
the pills will all soon fade
you'll stay weary and tired
then only you can say
how YOU were the lier
the lier to yourself...

| very well written...Those words sum up what I feel everytime I turn to pills as an outlet. Well spoken and it had a nice flow. |
