The Demon and His Lover

Contributed by Zeldianus on Friday, 6th May 2005 @ 10:20:17 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Large, sinuous wings,
Hard, scaly body,
So warm, so safe.
You wrap me up inside yourself,
Holding me ever so close.
The heat from your body,
Rising up from your chest,
Making me shiver and shudder with delight.
Thunderous organ that is your heart,
Beating in its rhythmic pattern,
Reaffirms my faith in your strength.
It is there that my security is derived.
So much hate thriving inside thee,
Killing all in your path.
This is how I know that I am loved by you.
I am alive; I am allowed to gaze into your huge,
Deep, black eyes.
I am able to touch you, and to kiss you.
But what can I give you to make you see
That my love for you is real?
You are strength incarnate,
You have everything;
You are everything.
When you are not at my side
I scream and wail in sorrow for your return.
Only the comfort of your hot, fiery breath
On my neck can consol me.
Your sharp, taloned fingers stroking my hair
Ever so rough, yet at the same time gentle as a baby
Are like a knife of pleasure piercing me to my core,
Igniting all my passions
Making me yearn for you all the more.
As we lie in our bed, side by side,
Our legs and arms locking us together,
Even your tail twisting and winding around me,
Holding me even closer
Drive me wild.
You gaze into my eyes and smile,
Revealing your long sharp teeth,
Giving you a most wicked look.
You break away from my embrace,
Almost causing my tears to spout forth,
And sit up on top of me.
You begin to speak in your deep
Earthquake like voice, nearly shaking the walls
With its power:

Oh, my most precious jewel.
I know what it is you feel for me,
And believe me when I say
That there is nothing you can give me
To show your love.
I have looked time and again
And have found nothing worthy of representation
Of how you make me feel.
As you know, there is much hatred
In my life.
But this is not so when I am with you.
I know not what it is about you, but there is something
That makes me completely at ease.
I feel nothing ill of anyone when you are next to me.
I am capable of mercy and compassion.
These feelings are not native to me.
They are most unknown.
Just looking at you makes me feel pure
As the whitest snow,
As though my sins have been washed away
And I am made new.
Can selfishness be always a thing of evil?
I want you to stay with me,
Always at my side.
It is selfish of me to covet you so,
But is it evil?
I surely hope not because that is exactly what
I intend to do.
When separated we are completely opposite,
But together, together we are something more.
We are a perfect being.
A preternatural, supernatural force
Unstoppable to all mankind.
We are the embodiment of love.
Let us stay this way, forever,
Setting an example of how all should love each other.

You lay back down beside me, exactly as before.
My tears are as a torrential downpour.
I knew that you loved me, but not so deeply as this.
Oh my dearest one, you have asked,
And now you shall receive.
Here is my place, and here is where I will stay.
