Smiled lately
Wonder which drop you might choose
Run around with my head cut off
No more time to lose

Stuck in hopeful notice
It should have been more than a glance
Stuck in between two giant boulders
Pinned and lost in a trance

Flag you down for wishes
Smiled at the thoughts that were stuck in between
You were caught without notice
You smiled and acted the way things should seem

You died shortly thereafter
But it was happy, all within a gentle sigh
You decieved all the other ones
But I caught you and noticed you were sly

Crushed by you then
Cold breeze fluttered your new spring dress
It was a dream but for the life of me
Let me sleep and dream for the best

Lonely nights without you
Still I notice the moonlight through the trees
I caught you singing a different tune
Weary now that you''ve caught their disease

Maybe I shouldn't care
Let dreams believe they've won
Stand up for a few less things
I could just close my eyes and remember waking you, secretively spun
