This is a simple thank you that you need to hear
The same person that has put up with my attitude for years
Not to mention wiped away all of my tears
The one who has been there through thick and thin
When there was a problem your the one i knew i could confide in
Though my actions say diffrently i need you more than life itself
To teach me to grow into a fine young woman such as yourself
To love my kids unconditionally like i know you do
Even though i deny it i want to grow up just like you
I need your help even when i say i don't
I listen even when i say i won't
I care even though i pretend not to
No matter how my day goes i'll always love you
Every word i say is true
So mom listen up this is for you
Thank you for dealing with me so well
I know raising five kids can be hell
Thank you for holding my hand every step of the way
God knows without you there is no meaning to my day
Thank you for today, tomorrow, and every other day
Thank you mom, Happy Mother's Day
