i dedicate this poem to my best friend and ex-lover terry......a true story about love and confusion
to have everything at one point in time
why is it such a crime?
for my love to be so strong
how could my heart hurt for so long?
for once i cared for one in my life
i actually woulda made her my wife
for a love to have no end
without her touch my heart shall never mend
she has no way to know
just how she made my blood flow
she could never see
what she TRULY means to me
somtimes so much anger so much pain
she hasn't a clue....my heart cries out in the rain
this woman who has made me see
how love,....truly,.... can set you free
she knows what, and how much i need
yet i feel selfish being so in need
a woman who truly controls my soul
she knows how freely she makes my heart roll
to ask of her what i ask, and to want it so bad
sometimes i catch myself and at me i'm so mad
but to know it could never change
she has to be with me to keep my heart in range
i feel a new lonliness i never knew
now she gone and it's never been more true
a new feeling for me this heart must feel
my baby's going away,....now i need her more,....for real
somtimes i feel as such an ass
from her i expect to mend this broken heart of glass
she knows the way to do this and yet
i keep pushing only to make her frett
for she can't,.... she loves another too.....
more than me or she'd be here and my heart wouldn't be blue
so for what or why do i feel this way????
because the sun rises and sets in her eyes each n everyday
