It's cold,so cold
And I feel so alone
I cant talk to anyone
Because they wont listen
They act like im not even there
I just want someone to hold me
And let me know it's going
to be alright
Someone to hold me
And hold me tight
I lie awake and cry
because im scared
and you're not there to hold me
And when I see you the next
day you act just like everyone else
and ignore me
theres no one here to hold me

It can be awful and frightening to be so alone with nobody there to touch. A oem of deep emotion well expressed, which most of us do experience from time to time.
