My Love Song

Contributed by SlimStaple on Sunday, 8th May 2005 @ 06:37:48 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Oh well sometimes you just dont know
Where this world is heading
Nevertheless, you always can tell that it is
Heading somewhere

So take it all
Take it all away with you
When your sweet voices fades away
Because Ill still be going somewhere

But hey, empty rooms are just another thing
To write down in my old notebook
Words pilling on words
Creating black smudging on the pages
But I still know every thought written there

There are no days left
That you can make up completely
Rewinding your life does not work anymore
Not like, you used to think
Oh, no nothing is how it was once believed to be

So when you vanish from this place
Pack your boxes empty my world
I will still be heading somewhere
Cant stay still forever

I could cry out to you
Send you flowers and cards saying I love you
I could miss you more then live
But somehow, that is as silly as giving up

So here you go dear
Another silly song written through tears
But maybe after this it all go away
And I can move on to the next place

Where I can finally rest my words
And take a look around our world
That I left you to see
And honey, it was worth it

Yeah, it was worth it

great write.... it reminded me of a song called Heartbreaker by The Rasmus... it seems like the poem was like a conversation you had with someone at least in the first few stanzas... which I found is a really difficult way to write... i've tried and it turned out terrible lol.... but anyway good job
